Former Farlingaye teacher is ordained priest

The Reverend Andy Todd has been ordained priest by the Bishop of Dulwich recently (July 4th) at St Edmundsbury Catherdral. Due to limited numbers the service was live-streamed, much to the appreciation of members of the regular congregation at St Mary’s church in Woodbridge, where Andy serves. He celebrated the parish eucharist for the first time on July 11 and the sermon was preached by a former curate in Woodbridge, Aiden Platten, who is now precentor at Norwich Cathedral.

New rector Father Nigel (pictured) says: “I am delighted to welcome Andy into the clergy team at Woodbridge and Great Bealings.”
