If you want a break from the cooking after the festivities of Christmas Day, why not spend your Boxing Day lunch being cooked for by The Crown at Woodbridge!

The team promises to take the stress out of hosting Boxing Day lunch while you relax with friends or family in convivial surroundings.

This contemporary inn with rooms is offering a fantastic à la carte menu with a wide choice of festive dishes all created by Head Chef, Sci Daniels, and his kitchen folk.

Make merry in the bustling bar with your favourite cocktail, some bubbles or real ale before sitting down in the cosy dining room.

Starters range from prawn and crayfish toast with wasabi dressing, house cured salmon tartlet and pressed chicken terrine to a plant based rooty ruby soup or brie and cranberry salad.

Diners are also spoilt for choice with the main course menu whether seeking a full English brunch, plant-based breakfast or traditional roast beef and all the trimmings, or something in between. There’s also a tasty fish pie with cheesy mash, Boxing Day burger and a leftover Christmas classic turkey curry.

Seasonal desserts include Christmas pudding fritters with brandy and cranberry butter and a festive mess, like the popular Eton one, but much better!

The Crown’s Boxing Day lunch will be served from 12pm until 6pm priced at just £23 for two courses or £29 for three. To book a table call 01394 384242 or visit, www.thecrownatwoodbridge.co.uk.
